SlideShark Presentation App App Reviews

How can they charge $100/year for an app like this? How much presentations are you actually creating/reviewing that justifies this type of pricing. As such, they only give you 15 days to pony up before you get booted. As most people have noted, Ill look elsewhere.

Was recommended by a business partner who used to use this but it turns out its absolutely useless to me. I cant upload my business presentation bc its over double the measly amount of storage this app offers. Will go elsewhere.

You have to pay them for stuff you can do for free with other apps.

Stopped using because of freezing. And now, the app is no longer free. They dont store your files. Beware. You will sign in and it will all be gone.

This app was good when it was free but now, you have to pay the $100/year to use it. Not worth it! Other apps out there that can do the same thing for far less. Deleted it today!

This used to be a smart program, last year they focused on profit booting out all the advocates that helped catapult them to success. Now it is all about the almighty $PROFIT$ - the program is no longer as good, free accounts are gone and the service is less impressive. Since the release of iOS 9.0 there have been several updates for every app out there with the exception of this one. Their last update was June 24, 2015...pre iOS 9. They need to hire new software engineers and fix the bugs in the app...in particular the remote feature not working through Bluetooth/cellular and only through a Bluetooth/wifi connection. It is pathetic that they cannot develop a fix. If I could rate this app zero stars I would.

App works great except for a bug where you cannot connect your iPhone to your iPad to use as a clicker if on cellular since iOS9 was released. The only fix is to connect both devices to Wi-Fi. This is not always an option when doing a presentation. Bug has been reported since iOS9 was released and they dont seem to want to fix it!

As other reviewers said, its not free after 15 days and then $8 month if you want to continue with an individual account. No choice for free basic account. As a teacher I wouldnt be using it that often to warrant the cost. Ill look elsewhere!!!

Used to be a 5-Star Program. I used SlideShark almost everyday for at least two years. Hundreds of client presentations. Used my iPhone as the remote / iPad connected to projector. Once the change to IOS 9, this function no longer worked (wifi only). Almost useless now. Exchange several e-mails with the developers, who promised an upgrade (since Aug 15). Not to mention, I paid the full price to upgrade. Ive had to go back to my laptop & a Targus remote. Way to lighten my load SlideShark.
